Amritsar To Dalhousie (220km/5 hrs)
Arrive Amritsar and transfer to Dalhousie. Check in hotel & Relax.

Day 2
Dalhousie – Khajjiar ( 30 Km)
Have breakfast at the hotel & leave for your sightseeing,

Khajjiar:

Often referred to as 'mini-Switzerland of India', Khajjiar is a small town near Dalhousie which provides tourists a unique combination of forests, lakes and pastures.

The mesmerising beauty of this place has greatly influenced and inspired many kingdoms throughout theyears, including the Rajputs and Mughals. Located at an altitude of 6,500 feet, the natural beauty andpicturesque landscape of this place are bound to leave an everlasting impression on a tourist. Khajjiar isknown for its nine-hole golf-course which is nestled in the midst of lush greenery and a breathtakinglandscape.

Kalatop wildlife Sanctuary:

The Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Leopard, bear, deer, langur, jackal, Himalayan Black Marten, Barking Goral and countless beautiful birds can be spotted here.

The landscapes are thickly covered with Deodar trees interspersed with little streams flowing into the Ravi river. The wildlife sanctuary was better known as a gaming reserve for Chamba rulers, in history. The area is a favorite spot for trekking, picnics, and nature walks. Return to hotel .

Dalhousie – Dharamshala (150km/ 4hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Dharamshala. Enroute visit to Bara Pathar, Punchpula Water fall, Subhash baoli after sightseeing drive to Dharamshala. Check in hotel Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Dharamshala which included,

Bhagsunath Temple

Surrounded by beautiful pools and lush greenery, this temple is located at a height of 1770m above sea level and attracts a huge number of devotees and tourists throughout the year.

Bhagsu Falls

Set amidst lush greenery and dreamy sceneries in a pristine atmosphere, these falls have much grandeur and breathtaking beauty. Whilein McLeod Ganj, they should not be missed.

The Bhagsu Falls are situated 2 kms away from McLeod Ganj. The place is spread over a vast expanse of land and one should take their time to explore the area and take in its majestic beauty. Trekking is also an enjoyable option here. There are also a few cafes near this region where tourists can find light refreshments.

Dalai Lama Temple

Namgyal Monastery also often referred to as “Dalai Lama’s Temple” is currently located in mcleod ganjDharamshala. It is the personal monastery of te 14th Dalai Lama. Another name for this Temple Complex is Namgyal Tantric College

Kalachakra Temple

Before visiting the Tsuglagkhang itself, pilgrims first visit the Kalachakra Temple on its west side, which contains mesmerising murals of the Kalachakra (Wheel of Time) mandala, specifically linked to Avalokitesvara, of whom the Dalai Lama is a manifestation.

St. John in the Wilderness Church

Amid tall cedars 1.5km west of McLeod on the road to Forsyth Ganj, this brooding Gothic church (dating from1852) is one of the few remaining traces of McLeod's days as a British hill station. The cemetery contains thegraves of many victims of the 1905 earthquake, as well as the rocket-like tomb of the Earl of Elgin, the second Viceroy of India.

Dal Lake

Named after the Dal lake of Srinagar, this beautiful small lake is just 3 km from the Mcleodganj town. This lake is surrounded by deodar trees and also has a temple here dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay at hotel.

Dharamshala-Bir Billing- Dharamshala
After breakfast proceed to excursion of Bir Billing,

Bir Billing:- Bir-Billing is the best spot for Tandem Paragliding sessions in Himachal Pradesh, India. Normal paragliding flight is for 15 to 20 mins which includes take off from Billing at the altitude of 8000 feet from sea level and landing at Bir which is 4300 feet from sea level.After sightseeing back to hotel.Overnight stay at hotel.

Dharamshala – Amritsar ( 250 km /5hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Amritsar . Check in hotel. After freshen up in the evening visit to Wagah Border. Wagah border is a road border between India and Pakistan. It is a famous tourist spot nowadays because of the famous beating retreat ceremony that is held every day before sunset. Almost 5,000 people visit the border to be a part of this ceremony. The flag ceremony is conducted by the Indian Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers. Wagah Border in Amritsar is the only road border between India and Pakistan. The border lies on the Grand Trunk Road between the cities of Amritsar, India and Lahore, Pakistan. The border is located at a distance of 22 km from Lahore and 28 km from Amritsar. There is a ceremony that happens every day before sunset and people visit to see the ceremony with great patriotism.Overnight stay at hotel.

Visit the Golden Temple The legendary Golden Temple is actually just a small part of this huge gurdwara complex, known to Sikhs as Harmandir Sahib. Spiritually, the focus of attention is the tank that surrounds the gleaming central shrine – the Amrit Sarovar, from which Amritsar takes its name, excavated by the fourth Sikh guru, Ram Das, in 1577. Ringedby a marble walkway, the tank is said to have healing powers, and pilgrims come from across the world to bathe in its sacred waters.

Visit the Jallianwala Bagh.

Jallianwala Bagh is a public garden in Amritsar in the Punjab state of India, and houses a memorial of national importance, established in 1951 by the Government of India, to commemorate the massacre of peaceful celebrators including unarmed women and children by British occupying forces, on the occasion of the Punjabi New Year on April 13, 1919 in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. Colonial British Raj sources identified 379 fatalities and estimated about 1100 wounded. Civil Surgeon Dr. Smith indicated that there were 1,526 casualties. Overnight stay at hotel.
